About the Logo Redesign Project
In class, I was given a project to find a logo to redesign. I decided to look for a logo that could use a brighter, more trendy feel. I decided to attempt to redesign a neighborhood establishment's logo. Bulldog Ale House is a popular restaurant and brewery around the Chicago area.
Sketching different ideas and design assets then creating the logos using Illustrator was a great project. I enjoyed the process of experimenting with different fonts and colors while keeping the vibe of the restaurant in mind. I was careful keep the logo appealing to the target audience, while lightening it up and making it more fun.
We then used our favorite logo on a building drawing we created using the perspective grid tool in Illustrator and tried to make it look like a real place.
